MEDICAL SAIGON GROUP DELIVERS “FAMILY MEDICINE BAGS” AND ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES TO FLOOD-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES IN PHU YEN

With a spirit of solidarity and compassion, Medical Saigon Group (MSG), in collaboration with the Saigon Eye Hospital Network, recently organized an urgent relief mission to the flood-stricken regions of Phu Yen Province. Hundreds of practical relief packages — especially “Family Medicine Bags” — were delivered directly to residents severely impacted by the floods.

Thoughtful and timely preparation

Immediately upon receiving news of the crisis in Central Vietnam, Medical Saigon Group mobilized internal resources. All staff members joined hands to donate, sort, and carefully package each relief items. Aware of the heightened risk of post-flood disease and health hazards, the team devoted particular attention to preparing the “Family Medicine Bags”. Each bag was assembled with essential medicines, gauze, medicated balm, plus detailed instructions for use — enabling recipients to safely manage basic healthcare needs.

Each bags package was meticulously sorted and carefully reviewed by the medical team, complete with comprehensive instructions for easy and convenient use by the residents.

The journey to the critical zones

The relief convoy traveled a long distance, carrying empathy and shared care to Phu Yen, focusing its support on key districts including Tay Hoa, Phu Hoa, Tuy An, Tuy Hoa, and Dong Hoa.

The mission went beyond simply handing over the gifts. Staff from the Saigon Eye Hospital directly guided residents on the safe and proper utilization of the “Family Medication Bags,” ensuring the supplies could be used effectively to mitigate post-disaster health risks.

Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the community

Although floodwaters have receded, the challenges remain. Yet, amid these hardships, the smiles, tears of gratitude, and heartfelt thanks from families across Phu Yen brought home the real value of kindness and solidarity. Every hand-shake, every word of thanks from the people in the affected districts reinforced the deep value of sharing and the humanitarian spirit of the mission.

The radiant smiles and grateful eyes of the residents upon receiving timely support are the most precious gift to the entire MSG community.

The dedication and unity demonstrated by all MSG employees resulted in a highly impactful program, clearly reflecting the Group’s solidarity and robust corporate social responsibility. We sincerely appreciate the contributions of every staff member—these compassionate hearts have helped disseminate MSG’s humanitarian and medical ethics values to the broader community.

These small yet heartfelt gifts, arriving at just the right moment, have rekindled trust and hope for a brighter, more stable future.

Finally, we sincerely hope the residents of Phu Yen maintain their faith and the strong spirit characteristic of this resilient region. We wish every family a swift recovery from difficulties, a return to peaceful daily life, and a rapid stabilization of their circumstances.
