Scientific and Technical Conference 2025: – Advancing healthcare quality across Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, 2025 – Medical Saigon Group (MSG) successfully organized the Annual Medical Conference 2025, its annual scientific event bringing together more than 400 leading experts, doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals from across the country.
A specialized forum connecting academic knowledge and clinical practice
Under the theme “Advanced Technology – Trusted JCI Quality,” the 2025 conference featured multiple discussion sessions across various medical fields. With a scientific council composed of top experts and physicians from both public and private sectors, the discussions ensured not only academic depth but also a focus on improving patient safety and clinical quality according to international standards.
Through this year’s conference, Medical Saigon Group aims to promote the adoption of JCI international standards across its hospital and clinic network, reaffirming its commitment to a healthcare model built on quality, safety, and compassion.

Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director General of the Department of Medical Services Administration, Ministry of Health, shared during his address: “In line with the Politburo’s Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on breakthrough measures to enhance the protection and improvement of public health, the Ministry of Health continues to strengthen the quality of medical examination and treatment. We believe that in the coming years, more hospitals in Vietnam will achieve JCI accreditation, enabling the public to access better and safer healthcare services.”

The conference served as a professional academic forum where presenters shared and updated the latest medical knowledge, contributing to the overall advancement of Vietnam’s healthcare sector.
The event also welcomed Dr. Bui Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Head of the Department of Medical Affairs, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health; Mr. Nick Liew, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific at the Joint Commission International (JCI); and Ms. Maaike van Zuilen, Global Lead Representative of the World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH), along with members of the scientific council and MSG’s strategic academic and technological partners.
Continuous knowledge update and practical application
The conference featured three main sessions — Ophthalmology; General Medicine–Pharmacy–Laboratory; and Nursing — with over 50 scientific presentations introducing the latest surgical innovations, applications of artificial intelligence in diagnostics, and advanced methods in patient safety management.
The sessions not only demonstrated academic depth but also emphasized clinical safety and quality aligned with international healthcare standards, reinforcing MSG’s group-wide direction of implementing JCI principles to bring world-class medical services closer to Vietnamese patients.
