Scientific and Technical Conference 2025: A Milestone of Medical Quality Excellence
Ho Chi Minh City, 2025 – Medical Saigon Group (MSG) successfully organized the Annual Medical Conference 2025, its flagship scientific event that brought together more than 400 leading experts, doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals nationwide.
A specialized forum connecting academic knowledge and clinical practice
Under the theme “Advanced Technology – Trusted JCI Quality,” the conference emphasized the values of “Compassionate Care” and patient-centered service — the guiding principles across MSG’s entire hospital network.

Dr. Ha Anh Duc – Director General of the Department of Medical Services Administration, Ministry of Health, delivered a keynote address, stating: “In alignment with the Politburo’s Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW on breakthrough measures to strengthen the protection and improvement of public health, the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to enhance the quality of medical examination and treatment. We believe that in the near future, more hospitals in Vietnam will achieve JCI accreditation, enabling broader access to safe and high-quality healthcare for the people.”
The conference served as a deep academic forum where speakers shared the latest updates in medical science, contributing to the overall advancement of Vietnam’s healthcare sector. The event was honored to welcome Dr. Bui Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Head of the Department of Medical Affairs, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, along with representatives from the Joint Commission International (JCI) and the World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH).
Continuous knowledge update and practical application
The conference featured three main sessions — Ophthalmology; General Medicine – Pharmacy – Laboratory; and Nursing — with over 50 presentations highlighting cutting-edge surgical techniques, applications of artificial intelligence in diagnostics, surgical innovations, and patient safety management.
Dr. Hoang Trung Kien, Group Chief Medical Officer, emphasized: “These presentations reflect our team’s continuous research efforts and strong commitment to improving treatment quality and patient care, demonstrating the academic ambition and dedication of MSG’s medical professionals.”
Affirming commitment to quality and patient safety
A key highlight of the conference was the recognition of Cao Thang International Eye Hospital, which received its sixth consecutive JCI accreditation and was recognized with a Southeast Asia record as “the first ophthalmology hospital in Vietnam to achieve and maintain JCI accreditation for the longest consecutive period.” The conference also gathered six JCI-accredited medical institutions in Vietnam, underscoring the growing adoption of global healthcare standards.

Representatives of Medical Saigon Group proudly received the sixth JCI certificate from the Joint Commission International during the event.
Sharing MSG’s long-term vision, Mr. Huynh Le Duc, Chief Executive Officer of Medical Saigon Group, stated: “This year’s conference represents our continued effort to connect knowledge and quality standards across the system. We remain steadfast in placing patients at the center of all activities, advancing the implementation of JCI standards throughout our hospitals.”
