Opening Ceremony of Saigon Eye Hospital Binh Duong

Ho Chi Minh City, October 10, 2025 – Saigon Eye Hospital – Binh Duong officially opens today, proudly becoming the 21st member of the Saigon Eye Hospital network – the largest system of ophthalmology hospitals in Vietnam. This event marks another important milestone in the journey to safeguard community vision health, reaffirming Saigon Eye’s commitment to making high-quality ophthalmic services more accessible to people across the country.

The opening ceremony officially marked the start of operations at Saigon Eye Hospital Binh Duong.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Minh Chin, MD, PhD – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, shared: “We highly appreciate the continuous efforts of the Saigon Eye Hospital system in delivering modern, high-quality ophthalmic services to patients nationwide. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of ophthalmic examination and treatment services for all age groups – from children and adults to the elderly.
Key specialties include: Refraction assessment and myopia control consultation; Modern phacoemulsification cataract surgery; Screening, diagnosis, and treatment of retinal diseases caused by diabetes and hypertension; Laser treatment for glaucoma and posterior capsule opacification; Examination and surgical correction of strabismus (crossed eyes); A wide variety of oculoplastic and microsurgical procedures such as pterygium removal, entropion/ectropion repair, ptosis correction, and aesthetic eyelid surgery.
