&#8211; a core element in ensuring safety in patient care and treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hand hygiene is a critical measure for infection prevention and control, fostering a safe and clean environment for patients, their families, and hospital staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key activities in April 2025 included:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Staff training: All staff participated in courses on routine hand hygiene\u00a0 and surgical hand hygiene procedures, followed by post-training assessments.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On-site monitoring: Each hospital&#8217;s supervision team tracked and checked compliance with hand hygiene procedures across all departments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative video contest: A competition to convey the message of &#8220;Enhancing hand hygiene compliance&#8221; through creative videos, aiming to improve hand hygiene among staff (during examinations, treatments, patient care, etc.) and educate patients and families about hand hygiene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In April 2025, MSG hospitals focused on understanding and improving Goal 5: &#8220;Reducing risks of healthcare-associated infections.&#8221; Hand hygiene is an extremely important measure for infection prevention and control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>April&#8217;s theme emphasized:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enhancing awareness about the importance of hand hygiene.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proper hand hygiene is the simplest yet most effective measure for preventing hospital infections, helping to protect both patients and healthcare staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compliance with hand hygiene practices in all patient-care procedures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every individual in the healthcare environment &#8211;
